The idea for the story came from a series of questions: Who will be the first woman on the moon? Why do practically all AI speak with native English accents? And what would it be like if you were alone on the moon and all of earth was silent? Season 1 followed Chaika's journey toward Mars, in search of human life. As season 2 starts, she has reached her destination. But she feels more alone than ever. Where are her friends? Who can she trust? And why does no-one believe her?
